
WAKEFIELD HARRIERS AT YVAA ROAD RELAYS 2025
RACE REPORT
Wakefield District Harriers & AC delivered a stellar performance at this year’s YVAA Road Relays, bringing home multiple podium finishes and showcasing the club’s depth and determination across age categories.
Gold came from our M35-39 A team, with Adam Peers clocking the fastest leg of the day (14:03) to seal first place in a total time of 44:44. Our M35-39 B team also impressed, securing third place with consistent pacing. In the women’s F35-44 category, Katie Peers led the charge with a rapid 16:40 opening leg, helping the team to a proud third-place finish.
Special mention to our M50-59 team for a solid top-five finish, with Phil Ambler, Ian Ogden, and Francis Mwaba holding strong against fierce competition. Every runner contributed to a day of pride, camaraderie, and club excellence.
