REPORT

Two of our U13 athletes competed at the combined U13 & U15 Indoor championship which were held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

Timothy Akintolu competed over 3 events during the day, 60M sprint, long jump & high jump.
In the 60m Timothy finished 4th in the final in a fantastic time of 8.79. In the long jump he came 1st in with a fantastic effort of 4.61m, this would not be the highlight of the day as he went on to take 1st in the high jump clearing the bar at 1.50m not only setting a personal best but a new championship record!

Matilda Shaw also competed over 3 events, long jump,200m & 60m sprint.
In the long jump Matilda finished 5th with a jump of 4.02m, in the 60m final she finished 6th in 8.96. in the 200m not only did she set a new personal best in her heat 28.65 she followed that winning the final in 28.68.
