The start of the year has already seen Wakefield Harriers athletes in action across a range of events and age groups.

Temple Newsam TenRESULTS LINK
The road running season kicked off with the Temple Newsam Ten, held in challenging cold and icy conditions. Three Harriers braved the elements:

  • Simon Midwood delivered a standout performance, finishing 12th overall and claiming first place in the M40 category.
  • Craig Davidson followed, securing 93rd place and 14th in the M40 category.
  • Clarie Ramsden crossed the line in 167th, earning 5th in the F45 category.

Well done to all our runners for their determination and results!

Brass Monkey Half MarathonRESULTS LINK
Next up was the ever-popular Brass Monkey Half Marathon, renowned for its flat, fast course and quick times. This year, Ryan Williams and Stewart Knowles took on the challenge.

  • Ryan Williams finished with an excellent time of 1:23:11.
  • Stewart Knowles set a new club M50 record with a remarkable 1:18:50, surpassing the previous record held by Peter Gooding since 2000. Congratulations, Stew, on this fantastic achievement! CLUB RECORDS LINK
