REPORT

This years edition retuned locally to Pontefract Race Course, and the club had a good turnout of young Harriers.

Isabella Tutt continued her good form in the U17 ladies race, finishing on the podium in a fine second place, Sylvie Ellis ran well to cross the line in 51st place out of the 78 to make the start.

The U15 Boys had a good day out, led home by Thomas Hastings in 3rd place backed up by Sydney Swan in 27th, Daniel Jones 50th, James Smith 95th and Harry Beck 109th. The team finished 7th overall.

There were some strong runs by the U13 Boys with Will Thornton the first over the line, in a well run 12th place, Henry Mc Farlane 28th, Lochlan Ruddock 91st and Oliver Hastings in 103rd. The team finished in 7th place.

Two Senior Ladies took up the challenge to race the tough, undulating, 8.4k grassland course and represented the club well with good finishes. Libby Greatorex was 38th with Suzanne Brooke close behind in 41st place, out of the 141 starters.
