RACE REPORT

Last night, Wakefield Harriers & Athletics Club proudly hosted Tom Bosworth, Great Britain’s international race walking star.

Tom delivered an introduction to the sport of race walking, followed by an expert-led coaching session for more than 20 of our junior athletes. His energy and enthusiasm lit up the evening, providing invaluable tips and motivation to our aspiring competitors.

With the West Yorkshire League fixture approaching on 20 July at Thornes Park, we hope Tom’s visit will encourage some of our athletes to explore race walking and bring that inspiration to the competition.

The club extends its heartfelt thanks to Tom for sharing his knowledge and passion with our athletes—it was a memorable night for Wakefield Harriers
