Last weekend was a huge one for our road runners, with records broken, championships won, and a flurry of PBs and fast performances across multiple events. From 5k to 20 miles, our athletes delivered from start to finish.

We had 33 Harriers on the start line for the Wakefield 10k, which once again hosted our Club 10k Championships.

  • 1st – Mark Bostock
A dominant gun‑to‑tape victory in 31:01, over two minutes clear of the field. This marks his fifth win at the event and secures the 2026 Club Championship.
  • 2nd – Mark Mills
A strong run for 6th overall in 34:55.
  • 3rd – Stewart Knowles
    Finishing 19th overall in 36:46.

A fiercely contested race among the ladies:

  • 1st – Rebecca Shepard
2nd female overall and club champion in 39:28.
  • 2nd – Katelyn Walker
    3rd female overall in 39:43.
  • 3rd – Sylvie Ellis
    11th female in 42:48.
  • Helen Beck – 1st FV45
  • Chris Mitchell – 2nd MV60
  • Peter Gooding – 1st MV75
