BRITISH ATHLETICS CROSS CHALLENGE

RACE REPORT:
Wakefield District Harriers Isabella Tutt and Tommy Hastings made the trip to Sefton Park, Liverpool to compete in the British Athletics Cross Challenge.
Isabella Tutt – 3rd (U17 Ladies)
Bella had her best run to date, with the U17’s competing alongside the U20’s which included the trials for the European Cross Country Championships in Portugal in three weeks time. In a high class field she finished in an impressive 3rd in the U17’s category and 10th place overall.
Tommy Hastings – 4th (U15 Boys)
Tommy had a very strong run in the U15 boys race, finishing in a great 4th place. With most of the top boys around Great Britain on the start line, the result was one of tommy’s best runs to date given that he is still a first year athlete in this age category.
