The curtain came down on the 2025 Distance League in style at the Abbey Dash on Sunday, with 15 Harriers taking part. It was a fantastic turnout, and the fresh conditions proved perfect for fast racing.

There were standout performances throughout the field with many fast times and PB’s .

  • Bobby Brailsford was the first harrier home in a new PB of 30:30
  • Ben Butler was next home in 32:59
  • Scott Eaglen was next with 34:35
  • Stewart Knowles ran 36:41
  • Katelyn Walker was our first lady in 38:22
  • Jacob Shillam ran 38:23
  • Paul Gilbert ran 38:27
  • Katie Peers was next with a PB of 38:35
  • Rob Jackson ran 38:35
  • Ian Ogden was next with 38:52
  • Lochlan Chitoriski ran 38:57
  • Paige Watson ran 40:46
  • Jonathan McGrael was next with 41:04
  • David Foster was next with 44:52
  • Rachel Rowe ran 47:16.

This final round showcased the depth and determination of the Harriers, with PBs, strong finishes, and fantastic team spirit. Every runner contributed to a memorable day, and the club can be proud of its representation at such a prestigious race.

Well done everyone — a brilliant way to finish the league!

Away from Abbey Dash we also had two Harriers competing in the fast and flat Doncaster 10K.

  • Adam Heppenstall was the first Harrier home in 40:08
  • Francis Mwaba ran 40:31 This is a fantastic achievement as it set a new M60 club record! Congratulations Francis!
